Are there special terms or conditions for renting an RV?

To rent an RV, you must be at least 25 years of age, have a major credit card, carry current full-coverage auto insurance, rent a minimum of 3 nights and provide us 48 hours advance notice. Smoking and pets are not allowed in most of our RVs. To accommodate smokers and pet enthusiasts we have specified RVs available in our fleet. Be sure to ask one of our Rental Agents for details.

Do you require a deposit for a reservation or damage?

Yes, we require both. Please see our price list for the exact amount.

A reservation deposit will be charged to your credit card at the time of your reservation. This reservation deposit will be applied to the total rental fee on the day of pickup.

A damage deposit will be charged to your credit card at the time of your departure, and varies according to the size of the RV you are renting. Your damage deposit will be refunded barring any damages. However, any extensive mileage or generator usage will be need to be deducted from your damage deposit upon return.

Are there any additional charges to anticipate?

In addition to the rental fee, there is a prep fee. Other potential fees that can incur would be for generator usage, mileage, damage, gasoline and tax. Please see our price list for the exact fees.

Typical usage averages 1.5 hours per day. A generator runs the electrical devices in the RV. However, you can minimize this expense by staying in a campsite that provides electrical hookups.

Mileage fees calculated in house per destination. Consult one of our Rental Agents for further details.

Naturally, your travels will require you to purchase gas. You can estimate between 8 to 12 miles per gallon under normal conditions. Remember, the generator also uses this same gas resource.

To take the hassle out of estimating the price for your trip, call us. RVs To Go-Grand Island has trained rental agents that will be happy to calculate the total price for your rental.

Do you have a First Class package?

Yes, "Adventure First Class" packages are intended to spoil those searching for a luxury vacation where everything is provided. Typically, RV rentals require you to bring your own bedding, cookware and accessories. And, when your return, you would have to ensure that the RV has been refueled, cleaned and that the holding tanks have been dumped. Click here for a complete itemization of the "Adventure First Class" provisions.

With our "Adventure First Class" package, just bring a packed suitcase and you're ready to go. If you prefer, you can unpack your suitcases into the RV cabinets and store your suitcases with us until you return.

And, we'll do the refueling, cleaning and dumping for you. So, when you return, just hand us the keys and we'll do the rest. You are on vacation; why spoil it by having this burden hanging over your head?

Also, "Adventure First Class" packages provide a TV, stereo and cable hookup not available with our standard rental. There are nominal fees associated with this program.

Can I take my pet in the RV?

Adventure RV does have specific RVs available for animal enthusiasts. There is also an additional refundable pet deposit. Be sure to ask one of our Rental Agents for more details.

Do you allow smoking in the RV?

No, except in specific RVs. Be sure to ask one of our Rental Agents for more details.

Unfortunately, smoke odors quickly absorb into the RV interior and are extremely difficult to remove. Therefore, we must impose very stiff penalties for any smoke damage, no matter how minor. If you want to smoke, we recommend you go outside on the downwind side of the RV.

Can I leave my car or any other items (i.e. suitcase) at the rental facility while we are traveling?

We suggest that you pick-up your RV with another driver so that you can return home with your car and the RV. Once home, you can pack your clothes directly rather than bringing a suitcase to our rental facility.

If you must leave your car with us, it is entirely at your own risk, and you will need to make arrangements in advance. If you bring suitcases and want to store them after you unpack, you'll need to make arrangements for this in advance too!

Can you pick me up and/or drop me off at the airport?

This service can be arranged for a nominal fee. Please contact us to make arrangements for this in advance.

Do you lock your awnings, so that we cannot use them?

No. However, awnings are one of the most frequently damaged items due to unpredictable wind conditions. You may use the awning - just remember that you are responsible for any damage. As an alternative, you might consider bringing a canopy or staying in an RV park that provides for shade.
